Cotton tents? I’ve never seen one and I never plan to be in one. I understand the breathability factor would be beneficial but are there any other benefits? You might as well just sleep outside and forget about a tent altogether in my opinion (your t-shirt would be doing the same thing).

Someone let me know if I’m off base.

Excellent article. It’s surprising how little thought give to tents, considering that they are such a major part of a camping trip.

I usually go up into the mountains in a very windy place (Patagonia); so far, no tent – not even geodesic ones – proved to be efficient there. Indeed, there are some very good quality ones, but they are either too expensive, heavy or bulky. What I do is to carry a sheet of plastic or a couple of waterproof ponchos. When blizzards start, I just hit the ground, wrap myself and wait. Works fine and costs almost nothing.

Doing camping is such an adventurous activity.Yet,its exciting and full of fun.But going to camps requires a very important equipments like the tents, choosing the right tent is a must to consider.I’ve been through this kind of activity and I could hardly say,be better to be more prepare and secure than letting problems occur during camping.Better to be safe!

Choosing the right kind of camping tent is the basic requirement of camping. As your camping tent will be the only source of shelter and protection in the open camping ground, fabric of tent must be resistant to the extreme fluctuations of weather. Your tent must be quite spacious and easily accommodate all the members in your group. Tent must be warm enough to provide you a cozy atmosphere in a cold weather. Tent fabric must not allow rain to penetrate and must protect from burning effects of bright sunlight. With all these qualities, keeping your budget in mind is also essential.

Unquestionably believe that which you said.

Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of.

I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just do not
know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects ,
people could take a signal. Will likely be back to get more.
